Boat Commercials

I saw boat commercials on TV Friday and Saturday, Sea Ray of Savannah now has commercials, they are part of the Hall Marine Group which is in the Carolinas and Georgia. Thought it a little strange as I am not used to seeing boat commercials, anybody else see boat commercials in your area. :smt017

Quite often Hall Marine has done radio commercials in our area.............usually for an upcomming sales event.

I have never seen or heard Hall Marine in Greenville run a commercial. They must have plenty of buisness with their great product.

This is the first time that Sea Ray of Savannah has done this to my knowledge.

We've had boat comericials for few years although nothing like drug ads. Far less coverage which makes me think they don't have their act together (retailers). To be successful, ad campaigns need to reach a target audience with enough frequency that people know who you are and what you sell. Campaigns need to be at least 3 years long as well. Once interesting ad in our market talks about locking in your storage and slip rates for 10 years if you sign up this spring. We've had one marina add lots of new storage and slip facilities. The others are trying to respond. We may be just a little over built at this time until the boat sales pick up.
