Boat Auction

Gawd,,, I'd love to have "Sitting Bull"... my kind of express cruiser...

Actually, I am a bit dissapointed that is the boat he had! I would have thought a billionaire would have a boat like Octupus....Maybe he was smart and thought a smaller boat would not draw attention to him

hi has more than that:

I think you had to post $100K to participate in the auction. 42 bidders and guests were set to participate. It will be interesting to see what the "Bull" sells for today. Estimated value at $2.1-2.5M. I will guess $1.3M.

Any other guesses?

That thing has been on the local news here the past few nights. One guy bought a Rolex Yachtmaster for $3500!!!...that's a steal.

I think there are some things in life you don't want...

1. House built on ancient Indian burial ground (or live in a house someone was killed in)
2. Girlfriend who previously dated all the band members from Def Leppard
3. A boat with lots of cool mods installed by an idiot
4. Own a boat owned by one of the biggest crooks in history

All have bad karma... not that I'm superstitious... but I don't want to find out I should have been superstitious 30 miles from shore.

PS: I've only experienced one of those.

Was she able to get back stage passes to a Def Leppard show?

I'm with you on the bad Karma. That said, there is jewelry being auctioned and a lady I know said she would be glad to have it. "it's only a diamond".. Very tainted to me.

I might risk Karma to own a Rybovitch.................!

The boat went for $700K! Unbelievable. I saw it and it was indeed finished like a beautiful piano.

For me, it's still one of those things that is so tainted I'd stay on the other side of street to keep away from it.

Somebody got a great boat at a great price.

It'll sink... 40 miles from shore... kill everyone on board.

I learned about "bad karma" after I named my boat "Four Suns" and then found out afterward that it means "Total world destruction" in ancient Mayan culture.

You should be okay until 2012, December 21, 2012. Hey now is the time to be selling temp life insurance polices that you will be around afterwards.

Lets see since December 21, 2012 is such a short time away, $1,000.00 down and $150.00 per month for a $10,000.00 policy. Not payable after midnight December 21, 2012, policy cancels.
