Just bought a 94 270da. Need to replace the battery charger. There is a blue plastic connector of sorts that feeds the wires through the knock-out in the battery charger case. I expect there is some way to remove this connector with having to cut the wires. I see the same blue plastic connector at various electrical boxes aboard.
How do they come apart? Who makes these connectors?

they are water proof connectors. Most automotive stores will have. They clip apart so you shouldn't have to replace unless you have an issue with one and if you do, I would cut out and start fresh, you will lose only about 1/2 inch of wire doing so.

You can replace them with shrink wrap connectors. They are like the open one but with shrinking sealing tube to seal them. After the connection is made (crimped) heat the shrinking tube with a lighter and it will shrink down and form a water tight seal around the wire. Any auto parts store will have them.

Mine had blue plastic "connectors" that were used for strain relief on the wires as they passed thru the housing to the charger. I wound up cutting the wires and replacing the blue plastic things with wire ties, Could not get them to release the wire even after I removed them. Not sure this is the connector you are talking about but its different than the shrink wrap connectors.

These all look like a higher quality part than the stuff sea ray used but the idea is the same.

Yes!!! Thanks for the link showing how they disconnect. Less hassle than cutting wires and splicing again.
Thanks!
