We have been going to the Block for years, it is a blast. Champlins marina is a great place, lots to do. Lots of bars, clubs and very good restaurants. Our suumer slip is in Newport, another great place. Love to have you.

One of this years trips is July 27 on the trailer and out of the Lake, put in in Stratford Ct, make our way up to essex island for a nite or two and then, July 29, leave Essex Island CT, for Newport (sun nite, mon nite) Nantucket (tues, wed, thurs nites) Vineyard (fri, sat nites) Block (sun and Mon nites) Back to essex and back on the trailer in Startford Ct. Bottom line Block HAS to be included in any trip we take in the area, yes it's that cool....

Block is truly a state of mind. It's whatever you want it to be, party central, relax, fishing paradise or all of it and all on island time. If I have to step on land BI is my first choice.
