I have a 2005 390DA and wondering if someone can direct me on the proper way to bleed the Hydraulic Steering. I have the Seastar system. Thank you in advance!!!

Buy the sea star fluid and the sea star adapter hose. Remove the fill cap on the top of the helm and screw in the adapter hose. Attach the quart of sea star fluid to the hose. Invert the quart container and wait for the bubbles to come up the hose. The instruction say to poke a hole in the sea star fluid container, but I don't do that, it isn't necessary unless you are going to use the whole quart. Then turn the wheel lock to lock a bunch of times until bubbles stop appearing. then remove the hose and replace the cap. You are done.

Good luck. Pete

I attach a hose and catch bottle to the bleeder fitting , turn steering wheel while adding fluid as necessary untill no more bubbles appear
