What's the secret with this type of tape??? if any:huh:

As soon as you put the 2 faces together and try to un-attach them they rip apart from the glue sides and not the velcro hook n loop

WTF :huh::huh:

I know the cure is the sew on type tape :thumbsup::thumbsup:

but don't have a machine :smt009

Tape was not cheap...$$$

Two things....first, use a larger piece on the "fixed" side of the tape and a very small piece on the side you want to be able to pull away. Second, put the "fixed" piece on, apply something that will hold it in place with some pressure to give the glue a chance to seal and adhere well.

Goes without saying but make certain the area being "glued" to is clean... like with solvent if a material that will take it.
