I was cleaning my boat yesterday and was reminded of a problem I have. When the latches that secure my cabinet below my cockpit sink and rear hatch get wet, black water or whatever runs from them and is tough to get off... is the gasket deteriorating? Should I replace it? Anyone else have this problem?
