I'm getting ready to put the boat back in the water and have been looking to get a bimini this year. I called my local sea ray dealer and they quoted me $1400 - 1650!!:smt119

So I'm looking for an aftermarket option. I have found several retailers including ones on this site however the aftermarket ones that I have found do not stay upright once the bimini is folded up. They fall down and are held in place by straps instead of the metal bar that keeps the sea ray top upright when no in use.

Does anyone know of a retailer that sells one similar to the sea ray equipment?

Thanks

Did you do a Search? Great Lakes Canvas!!

I did send a request to them to see if they sold the hardware as well but I didn't see if they sold the hardware as well as the canvas. I'm waiting for their reply.

Try Overton's as well. You can buy the metal poles by themselves and add them to the top.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of just buying one that has the straps and just adding the poles to it. Seems like it should be an easy fix. I just can't justify $1600 for a top I could fix for 3-400 instead.

Thanks for the links.

Great Lakes is and was the original supplier for your bimini top. They do supply the frame as well as the canvas. Suggest calling them direct to get the pricing. I just got a quote for a biminin to mount on my Extreme wakeboard tower (original supplier to Sea Ray). GL's customer service was very helpful.

Good deal. Please don't use the direction in the video. PVC may not hold up under the load your 350 will put on it.:smt043:smt043:smt043

So I heard from Great Lakes Canvas. Sea Ray doesn't allow them to sell canvas for my boat because its too new. I guess in a couple of years they could sell it to me.

I guess Sea Ray does not want someone passing up on buying the canvas marked up by them when the boat is new then having Great Lakes build it for less. Maybe you could figure out a way to ask if them 2009 pattern is the same. If they tell you it is, maybe they can sell you a Bimini for a 2009 model?
