Bimini Bahamas Follow Up Crew

We we finally made it!! Our trip started in Cape Coral. We went through Marathon, fueled, and ended up in Marina Del Mar in Key Largo.

We met our good friends Mike an Anya Sunday for dinner. Monday we dove the French Reef (Heather's first open water dive).

Tuesday with ok seas, (only 15 to 17 knots) we made it to Bimini Bay Resort. What an awesome place. My favorites are the wreck at the south end, and what I called our private beach at the north end. For two days we had the entire beach by ourselves.

We traveled back over on Friday to Ocean Reef Club. A nice place, but as far as I am concerned not a destination.

Randy & Ray, sorry we missed you guys.

It took me two days to get my conch salad. Joe was never there. But I paid for it twice as I used four teaspoons of his "special" salsa.

Heather actually sleeping. Must be too much work.

Just ask a few of our fellow CSR members why I'm so happy. It was a tough twelve months for us trying to make it to the Bahamas.

Interesting, we only took a few pictures of the boat this trip. I guess the scenery was just that nice.

Hey Ken - just found your thread and the wonderful pics. Great job and so sorry we couldn't get together while you were there. Just another reason to plan another trip!!!!! I see the pic of the north end, great place for some R&R all by yourself.

You really have to try Big Game Club (the resort that recently re-opened).

Hey Randy,

We went through Big Game. It is very nice. There were probably more people down there than there were up at Bimini Bay (since we came in after the Holiday). I like the floating docks at BB, but BG is where the action is.

However, I learned you really need a golf cart no matter where you stay.
