Hello Jack,

I think we're going to give Cay Cay a try that weekend. I could be swayed to Brown's as it is so easy. If the weather goes away we'll probably head down to the keys. Let me know if you're still considering going and we can connect at Bimini.

Hi, My name is paul La Fontaine.... i'm new here!!!

I'm thinking of going to Bimini on the 26th and coming back the 28th.
I have my boat in Aventura, a 44 Sundancer, 2 Cummins 500 called "Jammin".

its going to be my first trip to Bimini, and i preffer do it with some company

From where are you leaving??
 
I will be leaving Friday the 25th. Don't know what time yet as I am shackled by the Tides at Boca inlet. It will be in the morning though. We will come back probably Monday.

I will be coming out of Boca inlet. Tom comes out of Ft. lauderdale so you might check with him. If not I could make a more southerly course and meet up with you about halfway.
The weather still looks pretty good but if it gets bad (as Tom said) we'll go to the Keys.

Weather seems to look good so far. If you want I can PM you my cell number and I'll let you know how it is once we get about 10 miles out.
My experiance is once you hit the Gulf Stream it's either go or no go.
With you coming out of Port Everglades you are less than 2 hours away maybe less with the speed you carry.

Browns is closed for renovations. I will be staying at Bimini Bay. Heard it's pretty nice so I'll give it a try. Big John's the bar at Browns is closed also so nothing will be going on around there. I may not leave till Saturday. A couple things came up. But I will leave no later than Saturday.

You guys get it warmed up for me, as I should be there in December on the way down for my Winter cruise. Say high to Sarah and the end of the world bar. The last time we were there she was not feeling well.

I just hit the ground in FT Lauderdale and I'm going to make the trip if I can get into Bimini Bay. I need to have the bottom of the boat cleaned and I will not be able to leave Port Everglades until 10AM.

Great to be able to hang out over the weekend in Bimini. I got stopped by a large, maybe 80', CG cutter about 30 miles offshore but other than that a fast return. No gun incidents like the last stop.

Is was good to see you guys. Nice to have met your wife and daughter. Kayla (your daughter ) is totally awesome and a very cool kid.
What did the CG want? They stoped Ray coming back from Bimini a month ago. Seems like it's becoming more regular.

Thanks, she's a good kid. Long odds that she would be going to the same school you and your sister did.

This time they stopped me because I had been running about 1mi away from a pretty big sedan on the way back to Ft. Lauderdale. About 10 miles out from Bimini the sedan peeled off on a heading to Boca. They thought we were trying to split up so they couldn't intercept. They blocked me and asked me a long list of questions. No problem with the gun and ammo on board BTW. Very professional. Much better than the last time when the numb nuts pointed the M-60 at my daughter. Something is up. The guys I know that have been flying small planes back and forth for years are now having all their stuff pulled and laid out on the tarmac when they hit Florida.
