Bilge drain

I am still new to boats. On my 1976 Sea ray, at the step down into the cuddy cabin is what t appears to be some sort of black drain hole. Water is laying in the step area and will not drain out. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Raise the bow? Poke around/fish into that hole - see if something has clogged it up.

How much water re we talking about? What have you tried so far? Hopefully its just standard cockpit debris. Close the cabin door and put the water hose to it & try to flush it out.
