Mine sound like jet engines....but before firing up the engines it just gets you in the mood.
I love hearing the motors fire up...certainly aren't grocery-getter motors under the hood.

Even better discovering a problem before being out for a few day trip. Hopefully an easy fix ! Worked the sea cocks while down there.

Really nothing like a v8 gas engine in a boat. My old Chris crafts had that distinctive sound.Mine sound like jet engines....but before firing up the engines it just gets you in the mood.
Having all kinds of trouble with my 97 300DA. Port engine and port bilge blower were dead but both were good on starboard side. I charged the port and starboard batteries to 100% and the port blower was still dead but starboard blower still worked. Today I put in a new house battery so all 3 batteries are at 100%. Now neither port or starboard blowers work. Both are only 2 weeks old, brand new. Could it be a fuse? If so, where might the fuse panel be located?
