A lot of plans are getting changed this week end due to the high winds. We has 8 boats headed to the Sasafras today and that's a wash. Probably head south to the Horse Farm tomorrow. Even with 25kt winds it will be a following sea.

George I was looking at that. Geez there is a gale warning up today into tomorrow from Pooles to Sandy Point.

Maybe Sunday Monday will be better?

In the mean time I'll enjoy Colorado and be thinking about you all over the weekend!

Take Care.

I'm with 'ya we have 12 boats planning to head south to solomans tomorrow AM... I'm holding tight for the new float plan.

I went down to Annapolis today for the weekend, its was blowing pretty good during my cruise over here. Winds were off my port side and then head on, a lot of spray but wasn't too bad. Not many boat out today, I am on tied up on Ego Alley and no boats have come down in the last 2 1/2 hours.

Was planning on heading out Saturday to the Bohemia and Chesapeake Inn but I'm not so sure that is going to happen. Sunday looks good and Monday looks great. Fast forward to the follow weekend and they are calling for the upper 80's. Can't wait for the water to warm up and get out on the wakeboards, tubes and skis.

So aggravated by this suck A$$ BS F'ing crap sake sh***ty typical holiday weekend weather..

Oh you've got the three days of rain, clouds and cold followed by sunny and warmer on Tuesday down your way as well?

The only thing keeping me sane this weekend is our boat is still on stands awaiting repairs, and it will be too wet for the wife to want to go looking for antiques (aka junk).

Yes, this weather is insane. Come hell or high-water (or in this case LOW water) we are going SOMEWHERE today... We're thinking Rock Hall to go see my favorite oldies band Big Cam & The Lifters at Waterman's. Right now the Potapsco Buoy is showing 2.3 ft waves. That is totally manageable. Time to lace up the sneaker and roll!

I know it's not the bay, but we're expecting an awesome Sunday and Monday here in DC. Cool and breezy today, but rest of the weekend looks like a winner.

Water was insanely low. Buddy of mine ran aground between Battery island and the city docks in Havre de grace. Sea tow said they had 14 groundings so far that day.

I'm late getting a start to the season (again) and had big plans to get my boat in the water for the season, all washed waxed and looking pretty. With this blow-out tide lasting several days, there was no chance I was going to get my boat off of the trailer at the marina ramp, even at high tide. And no chance to get it onto my boat lift for the season. 75% of my pier had no water under it this weekend....crazy, especially for this time of year.
