Well, 90 degrees today and most of the other maintenance is complete for the year so I installed my new canvas. Wow, what a difference. My wife has wanted black since the boat was new, but the canvas just wouldn't wear out. Finally last fall it did. I spent the winter researching options, and thanks to a post on CSR, I got a great deal on exactly what the wife wanted. Here is a quick photo:

Very sharp indeed.

Very interested in the cost for that. Looks great!!!

I paid $3800 for the entire enclosure (delivered to CA) (bimini, all panels with stataglass) and spent about 6.5 hours on the install my self. This was my first attempt at any kind of canvas installation, I am sure on the next go around it would take 2 -3 hours tops. Very simple to install the lift the dot fasteners. On my particular boat, there are only about 10 snaps and a bazillion lift the dots.

Have you thought about black sunshades on port and starboard salon windows in addn to the front windows? Looks very sharp on a 400db especially w black canvas. Boat looks great...

I agree, I plan to replace the front sunscreen. The new version will wrap around both sides and cover the windows.

I will update my sig pix when I get something new that I like. Thanks!
