Hi Everyone,
I have a 2006 SeaRay 320 with four AGM 12-volt batteries. I hear many opinions about the best way to store it. The boat is stored in Mexico for 7 months a year. Some say it is best to fully charge the batteries and then leave them disconnected. Others say it is best to leave the internal battery charging system plugged in. I worry about the charger failing and overcharging the batteries or rodents getting in and chewing wires.
Also does the boat's internal charging system work when the two battery switches are turned off?
I know there has been some discussion on this site but I can't find a clear answer to this question.
Thanks
