Returned from various firework displays and have "little dots" over entire boat that vigorous washing cannot correct. In your opinion, what is best non-skid deck cleaner out there that will hopefully correct this problem?

Those could be burned in from fireworks instead of just being soot from the propellant/explosives.

I use Spray 9 marine Spray for cleaning. it is as good as anything.
If you want to get agressive, use FSR Fiberglass stain remover. It contains some acids that really gets to work on stains.

I have been using with very good results the Mary Kate Detailing deck cleaner, it has a consistency like soft scrub but doesn't leave a residue like soft scrub. I just pour a little on the deck brush it in and let it sit for just a minute or two and rinse it off. Just remember it will take wax off, so try not to get it on waxed surfaces.

I just use the same boat soap I use on the rest of the boat.

You might need to do some very light compounding to get rid of those spots. Possibly a polish used with a rotary buffer will be enough.

I usually use starbrite's deck cleaner, it works very well.

I will second that, it works very well, even for 95% of spider spots, but I have found you need to use as directed. Squirt some on, brush it in let set a few minutes and then rinse.

The 3M non-skid deck cleaner does it for us.

It removes 95% of the ground in grime and stains and I use the yellow Surehold brush.

The remaing stubborn stains are removed w/ Softscrub.

We just use Macguires Boat wash and a stiff brush on the non-skid (hands and knees scrubbing)

I also make sure to use a non-skid sealant at least once a year which makes it easier to clean.

What kind of non skid sealant are you using??

I do not remember the name (it is at the boat now). I finally found a bottle of this at a local marine shop and tried it out. I will post the name of it over the weekend.

Agreed. I am amazed at how easy and well this product works when used as directed.

I have found the the 3M product is better than Starbrite

I have a 35 searay and i use straight bleach on a rag and wipe down the non skid it comes out like new
