I need a glue that's waterproof that can deal with the vibrations too and hold the plastic silver ring on the plastic body of the remote there? Not sure what would work best there. Any recommendations? That ring on mine popped off.

Thanks,

Just about anythign should work for that. A little adhesive caulk would be easy.

Is your stereo the "normal" size (I'm not sure which Clarion you have... there where multiple versions used)? Normal meaning a rectangle a couple inches high by about 7" wide.

If so, that is a standard size and any other stereo you look for that appears to be the general size/shap will work and fit in the hole. It's called a "single DIN".

Ah ok, thanks. I'll grab some adhesive caulk at the local hw store.

This is a double-din Stereo - and I figured out a way to do bluetooth on it - I believe. Thanks. There is a bluetooth device you can get to plug into the aux port and then connect to that bluetooth to stream music from any remote device. Here's an example, there are many different variations of this.

Do you have some silicone caulk laying around the house? That would be fine, too.

I do ... unfort... it's hardened up on me... lol oye - I'll have to look around for some other glues I might have around the house.
