Curious to hear what cleaners are being used for both the shower stall and the lucite or lexan sliding shower door without possible damage.

A friend recomended wax with teflon after it had been cleaned.

Dave,

Funny you should mention waxing the head. When I was looking at the 370 four years ago, it was as clean as clean could be, and then when the owner said he waxed the head, I said SOLD!

I use the same soap as I wash the exterior with, I pull the water hose down into the head and wash, then rinse, rinse, rinse...............haven't waxed the head yet

And I learned here that Bilge cleaner in the drain works great - and it does.

I pour a little Raritan CP in the Shower Sump every weekend at the end of the weekend. Wax every year. I do dry the shower with a chamois after I shower. It kept my 260 looking nice. We use the shower every weekend and it still looked like new.

What next? A soft-water system on board?

Dave,

The head module is gelcoat, so use any plastic scratch remover folllowed by a high quality wax....with or without teflon...on the walls and Lexan door. And, the girls will love this, but if you use a liquid shower gel or soap you can avoid most of the soap scum that accumulates.

The floor should not be waxed but cleaned with a clear-coat safe cleaning compound or even the scratch remover.

Don't wash the shower walls and door with a bilge cleaner or detergent and the wax will last forever.

Another tip is to squeezee the shower walls and door after use to remove water spots.

Anyway, that's what works for me.............
