Bennett - One switch, either switch, boths tabs go up or down at the same time??

Hello,
I've checked everything, cleaned switch contacts, cut out and spliced pugs, removed the relay, checked both solenoid O rings and springs, and still with just one switch, either switch operated, both tabs go up or down together...?
Is there a barrier inside the pump that could leak pressure?
Help!

Can you tell me how old the system is?

It could be that the valve seats, fouled or damaged. If you put both Trim Tabs all the way down and leave them there for a few hours, do they stay there? If one or both retract on their own, then the valve seats are most likely damaged. They can be replaced easily and if you send me your name and address we will send you two of them, no charge.

Hello and Happy New Year!
Put both down and they did come up on their own.
So I checked the O rings, seem ok.
The valve seats are questionable. The black rubber seal in each seems old.
Would like to take you up on your offer for 2 new O rings, valve seats and the piston springs.
Happy to pay what ever you say.
