Bennett Marine bought by Yamaha

Bennett has always made bullet proof products that are industry standards, supremely reliable with the best technical assistance and customer service I've ever experienced in anything I have ever owned. It is very difficult to see how this acquisition can add anything to what Bennett is doing.

Depends. Why is Yamaha making the purchase? Do they want the product inventory, customer list, IP, capital assets and product revenue? Or do they also want the corporate culture, client focus and best practices developed by Bennett over the years? Most acquisitions today are driven by the desire to have the former. You'll know this if significant layoffs are announced after the acquisition. But not all of them go that way.. we'll have to see..

Bennett's commitment service and quality products will remain the same as it has been for the last 57 years! We are delighted to have access to the full resources of Yamaha at our disposal to further develop new products and technologies.

We are proud to join the ranks of G3 Boats, Skeeter Boats, and Precision Propellers which are all Yamaha Marine subsidiaries.

We will just keep doing what we do best with great support from Yamaha!
