Well....I just booked a night in Belmar for their annual Seafood Festival in June.
I've been to this marina a hundred times, but never with my own boat. I've gone out on the fishing party boats and the dive boats from there. They re-did the marina a few years back but I'm not so sure it ever really took off as a 'destination' for transients. The movie clip in the link above makes it look great and I've read some mixed reviews on other boards from a few years back.
Any locals with any first hand info on the transient slips and accomodations....good or bad?
As for the Seafood Festival, the town runs a free jitney to the beach all day long.
I'm traveling up with a 38DA and a 340DA and there are 8-10 other boats from my development also heading up.
