Before & after!

Stripes or no strips it doesn't matter to me. What does matter is the stack of wood blocks at the jack. Brother, you need to address that, like, yesterday! Things like that can kill someone. If you need to be that elevated, at least have someone weld up a proper tower or something. And some good heavy rubber chocks.

I like the no stripes look too, but you should add the newer style chrome sundancer logos from Searayman13 on ebay. I will look like a new boat.
Definitely was eying those up! I'm thinking where the old "sundancer " was?

2 chocks in there.....was only temporary to drain momentarily before launching. I hear ya! It was schetchy.

I watched a guy climb into a boat in his driveway that was like that. Had the little plastic chocks and the wheel up on blocks. He took one hell of a three "E" and two "B" tickets ride down the drive and into the road. I have seen those jack wheels roll to some pretty good places and never come close to failing. That one failed, dug in and bent the jack post at the top. Never seen another one fail like that. Even in my own stupidity out here on the farm. You know, where everything will work until it doesn't.

Oh, and BTW. That guy that took the ride? I helped him get his boat back in the drive after he got back out of the house and I stopped laughing. I bet he went in to shower and toss those underware, because it was about 30 minutes later that he came out. The things you see when your out on the roads doing in home service. Some reaaly good and some really bad.

So I finally got around to doing the bottom paint today. Decided to do the stripe delete before. There is still some ghosting of the old stripes but not bad. No time to buff the hull today though. Here are some before and after pics. I like the clean look of the delete.

Add one more to the no stripe club. Took the stripes off mine and it looks much cleaner

Thanks. I think I like the clean look. Next on the list is to replace the old plastic badges on the arch with the new style and maybe delete the deck striping and dated "Sundancer" logo for the newer script.

The boat is pretty dirty and I haven't had a chance to buff the hull or even really clean it. I will have to do that on the water. The canvas still has my "winter" isinglass in too so it looks pretty awful. I leave the front bimini up and put my old windows in for winter just in case the shrink wrap gets damaged that no rain will get in the cabin or dash. When I launch I swap out the newer glass.
