We might have a special on Blatz Lt or Schlitz. What would the Admiral say to a pallet of Molson showing up at...wait a minute, I just might need some wood work done at my house...hmmm
 
It's gotta be Corona, from the bottom of the ice chest, with lime, in the bottle with my full zip up bottle coozie. If there's no limes, I would rather drink water. Without a lime Corona is just crappy beer. Go figure.

really good beer doesn't need fruit... or to be cold as a well diggers asre, it need only be handed from the welcome hand of a stranger/ or dock mate/life mate for the (PC) or Wife..... Tried and true treditions apply ---any port or porter in a storm----

Ice Cold Corona is preferred - or whatever someone else is buying...And I also drink the locally brewed beverages. The brew master is my next door neighbor and I like to support the local product.

Local TV news did a story on lemons and limes and what they have on them (germs, fecal matter, generally bad stuff). seems many bars and restaurants don't bother to wash the fruit, just slice it up, have it stay exposed on the bar and add it to a drink or beer when asked. Now I am sure that we all wash our lemons and limes prior to serving them to our guests, but the TV article was an eye opener.

No fruit for my O'Douls (spelled it right this time) or anything else for that matter unless it's been scrubbed. Believe it or not.....several of the NA beers are not so bad. Beck's, St. Pauly Girl, Kalaber, and a few others taste just fine and don't screw with my Pancreas........(but I digress) so....Cheers.

Gary, several of those "dark" things have your name on them and will be served sans citrus!
 
I guess I am more of a refined beer connoisseur than the rest of you. I tend to enjoy the fulfillment of Blond Beer, more commonly known as Busch Light.

From all the stories I've heard about Corona, a couple of germs from the citrus probably won't hurt. And maybe the acid kills the germs. I have been getting limes in my Tanqueray and tonics for 30 years and I'm not dead yet....as far as I know.
