I have an aft-facing arch, but Jim told me to get forward-angled mounts for the radar and sat dome.

Guess that neutralizes things...

Forward facing was just a new style to sell boats. Eventually common sense will come back into play and the true styling will come to the forefront, or the aftfacing. Next trend will be an "S" shaped arch, to please everyone. All pre-Clintonites are in the A-FAS club!
