Beckwith island stopover

Yesterdsy a quick day trip to Beckwith islands. Beautiful day for the boys to get some crystal clear water beach time.
Funny my ASD younger child 2 years old swims out to a visiting boat that has kids on board . The mother and children from that boat waded on shore and were sharing beach toys with my kids so he must have thought they had more goodies on board . I'm laughing as he gets to thier swim platform wondering what the men on board would do with a small extremely wild kid boarding them . Lol he scrambles up the ladder clears the transom and bolts past 4 grown men through the companion way . My friend swam out to retrieve him . Laughs all around . I need to get him a t shirt that says

Wow. The beach has really gotten small with the high water! I haven't been to Beckwith in a couple years.

Yes water is high but the bonus is we can get into spots safely this year that were previously inaccessible for us.

I have a pick somewhere on how far out we had to anchor a 260 with the out drive up... It was a bit of a walk into shore

We were anchored on the northwest side in the bay opposite which had a bit more exposed beach and walked the trail that traverses the ismeth. I was able to get within 100 yards and still had 4 feet if water under the boat my trim pump is having an issue so I didnt want to raise the drive and have to bypass the solenoid on the way out or I could have cone within a bow jump of shore

Better at least the winters cold kills off the bacterium here.i lived on a 45 Irwin iff of gulfport Florida and got many sn infection from getting in the water with minor cuts and scrapes from my work before I learned my lesson and started putting s good layer of vaseline over anything remotely open

No I wanted 3 weeks and we couldn't schedule it in. We are coming up next summer.... I want to go down into Georgian bay and into the Trent for a way ... The other couple wants to go north... We are going to talk it thru Labor Day
