Beam central vacuum wall plate

Is this what I need? Mine doesn't have a screw connection for the low voltage wires and there is no way to tighten the wires. Consequently, the vacuum only works if you wiggle it. These have screws which seem way better. Just double checking before I order one.

I know I'll likely never use it. I just plug in a hand held but I still want the dumb thing to work.

I'm pretty sure that will work, but you might check the Beam Online store just in case theirs is "special"

I think it’s the same. The outlets are the same. It’s only the unit which was more compact for boat/event market

I received the new wall plug/unit. Going to head to the boat in the next day or so and swap it out. Of course the shipping cost was more than the part....

I have these throughout my house and I find when this happens some 400 grit sand paper to the contacts in the wall plate fixes the issue.
