Beaching at Caladesi, Honeymoon or Anclote

Hello,

Heading to the area tomorrow and cant find anything about the best spots to beach or anchor offshore/able to beach?. Only seeing things about docking. Which Island is best, and any tips. Have a 240 Sundeck so I understand its shallow, and GPS/depth navigator. Just looking for some tips. Only going for the day. Heading out from Seminole ramp.

Wife and I go to Anclote all the time. Bay News nine is showing an ENE wind with wind a little up at 15knots. Best bet for shelling is Anclote. With this wind go on the south west side. Watch low tide... anchor off shore.. wade in. Again, great for shelling. Three rooker bar and Caladesi are great for beach walking. Again, with the ENE wind , go on the outside. The north end of Honeymoon is super also. We have a 2007 Sundeck.

Thanks for that. Looks like high tide is around 10am with low around 5 so I will be mindful. Thanks! Looking online it seems Anclote gets a good deal of people during the weekend. Is that every weekend or only party weekends. Looking to make the run up from Caladesi and wondering if it is fun as it looks. Gonna prob check out all the islands.

If in the area, definitely check out Anclote. Less people than Caladesi. Yes, tomorrow will be active.... but not crazy.

All areas are good areas to pull up to.
