Thank you so much for all the info on stalling the bbq. I ended up drilling a little bigger holes in the swim platform, injecting resin, drilling out again with smaller holes, then using the 3M product I learned about here along with the resin technique. I debated putting it on the swim ladder side however you can see in the pic it is more out of our way. Slight trip hazard with the deck mount though.

Also many thanks for the assistance on tying up to a log boom and the swim step bumper I learned about here. The pic is Opening Day Seattle.

Looks good. I went with the same mount, under the swim step cover.

What is the story with the poles laying horizontal in the water behind your boat?
 
I just did the same thing. Didn't do the resin though. I just drilled and sealed top and bottom with a fair amount of 3M 5200. Great mod
