battery

can anyone tell me why i have two battery switches on my 1998 270 sundancer one is just an on/off the other is on/off 1/2/all

The one marked on/off is most likely for storage...long term...im thinking it totaly kills everything.... bildge pump .... radio mem. that would be my guess

I think Lady Ashley is correct. When I had my second battery, battery switch and combiner installed the installer asked if I wanted to leave my original on/off switch in the boat or remove it. I opted to let them take it out so that I only use the one new switch.
