Battery Mounting

I need to remount the batteries in the boat I just bought. They currently sit in a tray that is screwed to the stringers in the ER, with a strap going over the batteries. I want to put them in boxes so that 1. they are completely covered and 2. the boxes would contain any spills. The boxes I bought came with straps that go through brackets that screw to the stringers and then over the top of the boxes. This just does not seem very secure to me. I would like everything "locked" down so that it doesn't move.

What does everyone use? Any suggestions?

On our 28 footer we had 4 batteries all in plastic battery boxes in the engine room. They looke flimsey but worked well.
