Thanks again for all the help on diagnosing my battery/electrical issue that I mentioned in my previous post.

Best I can tell my main issue is my batteries. I currently have two group 27ms in my boat. Since I do spend a lot of time on the hook and have no generator I have decided to upgrade to some very nice group 31 AGMs. This requires me to install new battery boxes in my bilge. Do any of you have any tips for this type of thing? The boxes I am installing are much bigger then the stock group 27 trays in the boat. The idea of drilling into the transom/bilge area of my boat makes me cringe.:smt100

Other then be extremely careful is there anything I should know or any extra stuff to bring with me other then my drill and bits, regular toolbox, hardware etc....? My boat is kept a decent drive from a hardware store so I'm trying to avoid more trips to the store then what is necessary. I know there will have to be at least one .... there always is

I hoping to get all of this squared away this week as we have a big overnight trip with some couples coming up next weekend.

Thanks!
