I had this breaker pop today on my charger. I this an indication that the output for battery two (2) is bad? Is there any testing I can do to check this out? I believe this is the original charger that came with the boat.

Thanks Thanks for any info. Glenn

First check to make sure the connections at the battery are clean and tight. If ok then check all connections between the charger and the battery. You could have a loose or corroded connection which would create a high resistance, and pop the breaker.

Had similar issues with my 400DA. Checked all connections and the out put of the charger. Came down to an intermitant short in one of the batteries. Guess it caused fluxuations that tripped the breakers.

Tripped braker only indicates that charging amperage was higher than breaker can handle. This could happen for example when battery was low and connected refrigerator kicked in.
