I recently got a 1999 330 DA. So far so good with everything except the battery charger. After some quick trouble shooting its clear that the immediate problem was a blown fuse. Couple questions relating to this...

1) The fuse I took out that was blown was a 30 amp time delay fuse marked 250 VAC or LESS. Specifically it was a "Littelfuse time delay FLM 30". Is this the correct fuse for this application? Seems like a strange fuse, but dont really know...

2) There had to be a reason the fuse blew right? Should I be concerned and looking for the cause or is this common? I was away from the dock for a couple days and when I got back and plugged in is when I noticed the batteries were not charging. Not sure exactly when the fuse blew, but I would assume it was when I plugged back in and the charger was replenishing depleted batteries.

Anyone familiar with the fuses they have on the 12V side of their chargers?

Thanks for the help!

That sounds like the right fuse. I'm actually looking to get a couple of spares but the Sea Ray dealer here couldn't help me with that, amazingly enough...said they don't stock that fuse....pretty poor. If I remember correctly it's not a "glass" fuse...I may have to pull one in order to be sure but the number and type you quote sounds right.
