After checking my 12 volt system has me confused. My batteries go down in just a few hours when on the hook. I replaced both house batteries and had the same problem. Figuring I had something pulling the system down, I stated checking amp drain with a DC amp clamp. What I found is that the entire House is being powered from the starter battery. The two parallel wired house battery is only connected to one engine. The boat is a 91 350 gas. It has the original charger. From what I can see, everything appears to be wired in its original position. The batteries can only go in one position.
