Batteries too close?

I replaced my group 31 batteries yesterday with Duracell 31 AGM’s. The OEM set up places the battery + & - post very close together. Options...
1) Have a beer and stop over thinking this, its been like this since 2008?
2) move the mounting post and battery trays 1” forward? PIA
3) Place and piece of hard 3/8” plastic between the batteries to keep them separated?
4) your idea?

And yes, my charger was upgraded to charge AGM’s this spring

Silly question - aren’t the close terminals in different, isolated banks? Would you even get current if those + and - touched?
