batt chager output breaker keeps tripping

I have a 2002 280
DA with twin 4.3's and a gen set and three batteries. My Batt Charger Output #2 keeps tripping. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking I got a bad battery. I was having trouble with one of the batteries holding a charge. I'm going to pull them and have them tested. Thanks for the suggestions. .

How about an update, did you find your problem?

I thought I was going to fix the problem by replacing my batteries. I purchase 3 Interstate AGM batteries and installed them last weekend. Sure enough, when I was leaving the boat yesterday, I noticed that the breaker for Battery Charger Output # 2 was tripped. So I guess I didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions on how to track down the problem?

Disconnect the #2 lead to your #2 battery. Does it still trip? If so, disconnect all #2 wiring from your charger. If it still trips then you have a bad charger. Try this before spending any more money.
