I bought a second hand sea ray and i am trying to start the generator as the manual shows, but nothing happens when i turn the preheat button and the start button at the left part of the pannel. In the selenoids i can read stbrd port and Gen, I dont know When i have to turn on this button (GEN), i dont see anything related in the manual.

There is also a breaker on the generator itself that you need to turn on to start.

When I cold start mine it takes about 20 seconds to pump the gas up. After that it cranks right up. Hope this helps.

when i put on the preheat i dont see the blue light in the button, is this normal?.

Where is the braker in the generator mention by srt8?

The GEN Button in the right size have to be on or off?

The preheat switch is for diesel gennys, The on switch is on the side of the genny facing the strb side engine. Right side looking toward stern. The Gen switch has to be on.
