Barnegat Under Swim Platform Lights

Hi All,

Does anyone know what the material is that the bulb in these lights are encapsulated with. Its like a concrete looking mixture that is a little softer than that, but I have never seen anything like it. I have disassembled these lights and replacing the bulbs with blue LED sealed beams. The OEM bulbs are just siliconed in place and then this other crap is poured on top of the bulb. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Boat is a 2006 340

What bulbs did you replace them with? I have those lights on my boat and have always wanted to replace the bulbs. Any additional pictures? Do you need to replace this "concrete looking mixture?"

It is epoxy potting compound. Google it, there are many variations.
