Heading to Baltimore to teach a class. Staying at the Royal Sonesta at the Inner Harbor. This will be my first time in the harbor. Any recommendations for dinning or ?????

Shawn

If you are thirsty, go to Fells Point. Good food too. Berthas Mussels, One Eye Mikes, Admiral Fells Inn are just a few of the very good eateries/pubs.
You can take the shuttle boats from the inner harbor to Fells Pt.

All good calls, Can't really add to that except to say that you can just about walk to Orioles Camden Yard to catch a game.

To get your boat fix, consider taking the water taxi to Fells Point. It's a bit "touristy" but it's better than a shuttle bus. Also, if you can, make it out to Canton Square. But only if you like bars. :)

How long will you be in town? There is a Marine Max Scotch and Cigar event on Saturday night. Easy to get there from your hotel.

Fells Point is good for bar hopping and some casual eats. Also many good choices in Little Italy (between Inner Harbor and Fells Point). Aldo's is my personal favorite...

Shawn, when are you going to Baltimore? We will be there for Trawlerfest the weekend of the Sep 27th. Shopping for our future liveaboard. Staying at the Renaissance Harborplace and the show is across the harbor at Harborview. Anyone else going this weekend? This will also be our first visit to the area. All recommendations are appreciated.

Lil Havanna over by the industrial museum off Key Highway (about a mile-ish from all the Inner Harbor stuff). On the water outdoor eating, good food, etc!

I like little Italy. I highly recommend Cafe Gia wonderful food! There is a good little bagel shop in Federal Hill a short walk up from your hotel in the left.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. Unfortunately I was only there for 2 nights. Tuesday night was raining like hell and just went to Hooters (mistake) for a quick meal last night. I will save all of these suggestions and hopefully be back again soon.

Thanks again,
Shawn
