Baltik Dingys

Good dinks for the money, I had two for several years. The only complaint so far is the paint on the transom plate for a motor. But, I guess it's a minor thing. If you keep the dink clean and covered it'll last a long time.

However, I've heard that defender runs some specials on zodiacs which very competative prices. If you can't find a good deal on them, baltik is a good choice as well.

Just wondering if anyone here has reviews or opinions on Baltik Dingys , Thanks

Owned one for the past 6 years. Bought it as a "make offer" and checked the feedback before I made my offer which was ridiculously low... The transom plate will flake off but I sandblasted mine and repainted after 5 years. No problem since...

Be sure to order the one with the hard floor. Either the aluminum or wood. The metal is about 20 pounds lighter. All come with an inflatable keel... That is great for tight runs and keeping the dink going straight. Great price and quality is very good. I will buy another...

I just picked up one with the inflatable floor. Waiting til spring to see how she does. Looks like its pretty well made...mine's an 07 and in great shape.

I have had 2 of them over the years. If you keep them covered, they are a good value for the money. If it is exposed to the sun for extended periods, the side panels and bow panel become very sticky. I currently have a JP Marine. Slight more expensive, but seems well made too.
