Badges Decals - Are there studs in 13' oval badges

I was going to pop off the 13' oval badges on the port and starboard sides of the hull. Common on this era sea ray. The gentleman that recently hung boot stripe said he thinks there are studs/pegs behind this decal. I assumed they were just on with strong adhesive. I'd like to know prior to popping them off.

No, the thin and the thick ones do not have studs.
