Had to share my bad day of boating.

While uncovering the boat and getting everything stowed, someone, who won't be named, left a hatch open. I spun around and kicked the s$&t out of it on edge. Broken toe. Motored out to a beach and actually beached the boat for about the third time ever. While tying off to a tree-stepped into last nights campfire from someone else. Second degree burns ON THE SAME foot! Sure was a pretty weekend though.

Woke up the next day with a hurting foot and a hurting head from all the "medicine" I poured into myself after that disastrous start.

Well, at least you got that out of your system and can have fun as soon as the foot heals.

Good Luck for a great summer finish...

Wow! Is this Gary W. in a different boat? Sorry to hear about the troubles, make the most of being out there at least. Just remember, where there is smoke, try not to step in it.

No kidding. No smoke-just the old "a hot lightbulb looks just like a cold lightbulb".

I stepped on a hot charcoal when I was 18 and it stuck to the bottom of my foot. That ended up badly, especially because I was 18 and nothing could hurt me! I ended up in emergency a few days later with a bright red leg up to my knee. Be careful with burns, even if cute girls are keeping you occupied.
