Backfiring 454

This weekend, my engine would backfire occasionally when I would bump my trim tabs. I would think it would be charging issue, but don't really know where to start. It charges 13-14 volts when above idle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Start with the simple, make sure all the plug wires are tight. Been there and done that.
