Well after we lost the 230cc back in Feb. in the fire, we thought it would be a while before we would find a boat just as clean that fit our needs. After looking at several Sundancers 220 up to 270, including 268's we were just not getting the excited boat feeling about Sundancers. We basically figured out we are day boaters for the most part but need a cabin for the kids, 4 and 2 to nap in. Also need a "potti" head for the kids as well. So we started looking at early to mid 90's 240 ov's. The thought process was we have several smaller "inland" lakes near our house, heck we could hook up to the trailer and be backing away from the ramp in 10 minutes during the week at the lake 1.5 miles from our house. Well after considering we only had the 230 in that lake twice in the 2.5 summers of ownership, with most of the time being on the great lakes we started looking a little bigger. We really liked the early to mid 90's 270 Weekenders. They fit the bill, still fairly easy to trailer, cabin, head, and large cockpit, can overnight if we want to to. Well we found a very clean one with sooner than we thought hours (775hrs) were a little more than I was hopping for, but you know those 454's they seem to go forever. So we got her in the water the first time yesterday, all and she performed flawless. At the end of the day both the Admiral and I looked at each other and said, I think we found the perfect boat we will have this one for a while. Here is a shot of her underway (sister-in-law snapped from their boat).

Looks sharp for sure. Have fun.

it does look clean and in good shape!

Nice boat, I like the color scheme.............

Looks great! I also am partial to that color scheme as you can see. I like the fact that you have the little oval windows in the vee berth. I wish the DA had those, must be the difference between the sundancer and the weekender.

Thanks for the complements guys. I am hopping to get many years of good service out of her.

Very nice & Congrats on the new ride. ..

Have a Fun & SAFE summer. :smt001
