Azipod

i just watched something on Discovery about Freedom of the Sea cruise ship as it was being built. The Azipods give an incredible amount of precise control. As they were rotating the ship in a tight channel, they referred to the 3 or 4 meters they had fore and aft as "plenty of space" to move the ship. Yikes! Great stuff though.
