Has anybody else with a Lighthouse OS MFD found that Autorouting always warns that a safe route cannot be created? I have edited the boat details for depth, width and height tolerances. For some reason, I 100% of the time get the warning that a "safe route" cannot be created. Immediately following this, I get a route presented that I can go to but I'm unclear what the error is about. I've even autorouted to something a couple hundred yards away where there is zero chance that I'm going to come upon shallow water, changed the minimum depth to 2 feet just to see what would happen and I still get a "safe route" error as if the route would bring me to water more shallow than that. I've even gotten the error when trying to route out on the Puget Sound where the most shallow water would be a couple hundred feet.

The Lighthouse Advanced Operations Manual reflects that "Boat Details" are what the autorouting feature uses to determine a safe route, so I can't figure out what the situation is.

Software and charts are up to date.

Have seen this as well. Have you tried touching certain parts of the route to get more details? I haven't paid much attention to this as it seems my routes takes me under bridges and narrow waterways.

I haven't...I'll play around a bit. Some of the routes for me have nothing in the way. No bridges, no narrow anything, super deep waters. Just doesn't make sense.

I usually get this when I have a bridge, power wire or other overhead obstruction. I think their database for these clearances is lacking or the lawyers won’t let them route underneath these types of things. I would guess that the clearance would have several variable that might not be easily accounted for.

Dumb question. Do you have an official Navionics card? Call Navionics to confirm. Lots of fakes out there. Ask me how I know:)

Mine does the same thing. Sometimes it works Sometimes it doesn't. No rhyme or reason

I do...unless Raymarine is shipping out fakes...card came packaged with the Axiom+ and I've registered and updated with Navionics.

yeah, I’d expect that to be good.

Have you tried doing the autoroute on a an ipad or online the transferring it to the MFD?

I was playing around with the ipad app. I get a route but it says "Your boat height is not taken into account. Check Clearance.

This is for a submerged bridge...go figure.

Have not yet. But will screw around with various things and see what happens.
