Axiom 9 interface to SmartCraft

so, I just finished installing a Axiom 9 in our 2007 320. The SmartCraft currently installed works fine. I reached out to Mercruiser as to what is needed to interface. They stated either to buy a new unit at over 1500 bucks, or install either a NMEA Gatateway or a VesselView link. Anyone have advise on either of these?

Smartcraft gateway to NEMA2000 is what you are looking for. It is available for under $400. If you want to pickup a used one I think older models may have had a single engine option which you do not want if you have two engines.
