We Recently purchased a 95 230 DA. On either side of the engine is an auxiliary fuel tank. The fillers are hooked up and the vent lines are hooked up, but the supply lines are just hanging there with a bolt in the end. Tanks are empty of course. So I have a few questions, what would it take to make them work?
To make them work, would I need a switch like a truck with two tanks has?
Gauges?
Was this a factory option? (are factory switches available)
I realize 3 fuel tanks is a little overkill, but it would be nice to not have to pay high marina fuel prices (we trailer to the lake)
The previous owner allegedly put them in so he could cross lake Mead and back without fueling.
I think this is the right place for this post, thanks for any help!
