autopilot for a 400db which one?

Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing an Autopilot for mY 2003 400db. All my gear is Raymarine so I will stick with them

However, which one do I need?? I checked on Boemarine and there are a few there prices vary quite alot.

one I am looking at is st 8002 or st 6002 both a touch over $1000. There is the option of 2g but the images and the description are both the same as with out the "G2"

hate to buy the wrong one

so your help would be appreciated..Ooops, forgot, has anyone fitted theirs..as it looks really tight to get behind the generator and watertank

I have not priced these recently but I dont think you are getting everything you need for $1000..... the control head, the computer, the rudder indicator, the hydraulic pump, the compass and possibily a gyro..... usually a lot more than $1000 (US or course) I guess if you buy it here with our weak dollar it could be much cheaper for you
