Twin 7.4 straight drive
On my ride home Monday of labor day weekend my st7000 Ray autopilot worked perfectly for 2 hours straight. Now yesturday I went for a ride and when I hit auto it turns on for no longer then 2 second and goes back to standby. It's hooked up through seatalk to an mfd an 80c and a 70c. Any thoughts

Ok I think I figured it out. Whoever installed the main power feed to the rocker on the dash used a hard wire(thick copper strands inside the casing). Same goes for the ground.. the voltage was jumping from 13.5 to way below 12 when bouncing around. Basically the connections were horrible and not consistent and the auto brain didn't like it. So it wouldn't stay on auto. The thing that gets me is it wouldn't give you a warning letting you know auto not engaged. But it's fixed. For now atleast
